Today, 20 august 2020, a start has been made with the concrete pouring of the foundation of the 3rd of 4 wind turbines in Bijvanck Wind Farm, located south of Angerlo, in the province of Gelderland. Next week, the final foundation will follow and a start will be made on laying the internal park cabling.

According to the initial plan, the concrete pouring of the last foundation would have taken place today. However, the heat wave of the past few days has caused a slight delay in the planning, reports developer Pure Energie.

The construction of the internal park cabling is expected to be completed by mid-October. In the meantime, a start has already been made on the cable route between the wind farm and the transformer station of grid operator Liander in Zevenaar. The electricity generated from the wind farm will soon be able to enter the electricity network here. Liander has contracted A. Hak to carry out the work.

Vestas V117
Pure Energie expects the first turbine components to be delivered in November. The wind farm will house 4 Vestas type V117 wind turbines with a hub height of 116.5 m, a rotor diameter of 117 m and a tip height of 175 m. The entire wind farm is expected to generate 36 million kWh per year.
